Shipping & Returns

IN STORE PICKUP

We offer in store pickup for our customers who are local to our Northport, AL store. At checkout, simply choose the IN STORE PICKUP option for shipping. Once we process your order we will send you an email stating that your order has been fulfilled. You can then pick up your order in store during business hours. We will not ship any orders when this option has been chosen. Should you require shipping after choosing IN STORE PICKUP, we will invoice you for shipping. Once the invoice has been paid, we will then ship the order.

Orders not picked up after 45 days will be reabsorbed by Vinyl Cottage and no refund will be given.

 

SHIPPING

READY TO SHIP ITEMS:

Our goal is to ship orders as quickly as possible.  Our current processing time is 1-3 business days. We often ship same day or next business day, but this is not guaranteed. Our processing time does not include weekends or holidays. It also excludes any order containing printed vinyl, transfers or sale items.

PRINTED VINYL,  ACRYLICS AND OTHER CUSTOM PRINTED ITEMS:

We keep updated processing times listed in the announcement bar at the top of the website for our printed items.

We only ship to the address provided at checkout. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure the ship to address in correct. If package is returned due to wrong address provided by the customer, customer agrees to pay to reship the package. If customer requests a refund after the package has been returned, a refund will be issued minus the shipping cost and a 20% restocking

 

We do not refund or replace lost or stolen packages.

Route Shipping Protection is automatically added to each order. Route can protect your order should it become lost or damaged in transit. They can even protect your order from porch pirates. You are not required to purchase Route shipping protection. However, should your order get lost or damaged in transit Vinyl Cottage will not replace or refund for those lost or damaged items.

 

RETURNS

Printed Vinyl, Sublimation Transfers and HTV Transfers are not refundable or exchangeable. 

In order to return your Oracal or Siser products, items must be in new, unused and unaltered condition. Shipping charges are not refundable. Purchaser is responsible for return shipping.

  • The purchaser must email Vinyl Cottage at thevinylcottageshop@gmail.com with return and the order number in the subject line.
  • In the body of the email list what you are returning (whole purchase or just part) and the reason for your return.
  • We must receive the return within 30 days of the date we shipped to you
  • You should receive a response within 2 business days, excluding weekends, holidays and posted days closed.

Upon receiving the returned items, we will inspect them to make sure they are in new, unused, and unaltered condition. We will then process a refund for all items meeting these requirements less shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee.

Example:  original purchase $30 + shipping fee $9.95 = total charge $39.95            

Refund: $30-20%=$24

    Remember that it can take 3-5 business days for refunds to show up on your credit card account.
