Shipping & Returns
IN STORE PICKUP
We offer in store pickup for our customers who are local to our Northport, AL store. At checkout, simply choose the IN STORE PICKUP option for shipping. Once we process your order we will send you an email stating that your order has been fulfilled. You can then pick up your order in store during business hours. We will not ship any orders when this option has been chosen. Should you require shipping after choosing IN STORE PICKUP, we will invoice you for shipping. Once the invoice has been paid, we will then ship the order.
If the order is not picked up within 1 week, we will send a 2nd notice that your order has been fufilled. After 45 days, any order not picked up will then be reabsorbed by Vinyl Cottage and no refund will be given.
Our goal is to ship orders as quickly as possible. Our current processing time is 1-3 business days. We often ship same day or next business day, but this is not guaranteed. Our processing time does not include weekends or holidays. It also excludes any order containing printed vinyl, transfers or sale items.PRINTED VINYL AND TRANSFERS We keep updated processing times listed in the announcement bar at the top of the website.
We only ship to the address provided at checkout. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure the ship to address in correct. If package is returned due to wrong address provided by the customer, customer agrees to pay to reship the package. If customer requests a refund after the package has been returned, a refund will be issued minus the shipping cost and a 10% restocking fee.
We ship all orders via USPS. Orders weighing less than 15 ounces will ship standard mail. Standard shipping does not include tracking information or insurance. You have the option of upgrading to Priority Mail at checkout. Priority Mail includes tracking information and $50 worth of insurance.
Packages weighing 13 ounces or more will ship USPS Priority Mail. You will receive a tracking number once your package ships along with $50 insurance. If your purchase exceeds $50, please consider purchasing extra insurance. Should your item be lost during transit, it twill be your responsibility as the purchaser to file a claim with USPS. We cannot file the claim; the insurance can only be paid to the purchaser.
We do not refund or replace lost or stolen packages.
Once you receive your package, please open and inspect it right away. We work very hard to ensure all orders are accurate. However, if there is an error, you must notify us via email at thevinylcottageshop@gmail within 3 days of delivery, no exceptions.
Printed Vinyl, Sublimation Transfers and HTV Transfers are not refundable or exchangeable.
In order to return your Oracal or Siser products, items must be in new, unused and unaltered condition. Shipping charges are not refundable. Purchaser is responsible for return shipping.
- The purchaser must email Vinyl Cottage at firstname.lastname@example.org with return and the order number in the subject line.
- In the body of the email list what you are returning (whole purchase or just part) and the reason for your return.
- We must receive the return within 30 days of the date we shipped to you.
- You should receive a response within 2 business days.
Upon receiving the returned items, we will inspect them to make sure they are in new, unused, and unaltered condition. We will then process a refund for all items meeting these requirements less shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee.
Example: original purchase $30 + shipping fee $9.95 = total charge $39.95
