Our Dye Press transfers make quick and easy work of creating that custom made shirt.
I order to use Dye Press transfers YOU MUST HAVE A HEAT PRESS. An Iron will not work.
The ink will only transfer to fabrics consisting of at least 50% polyester. The higher the polyester count the more vibrant the colors. Poly Blend fabrics will create a vintage look and may have some fading after washing. We use either Next Level Raglans or Bella Canvas Poly Blend Tees. Transfers work best on white or light colored shirts.
Our transfers are printed onto 8.5x11" sublimation paper.
Heat press at 385 degrees for 85 seconds using medium to heavy pressure.
Pre-press for 10 seconds.
Place a sheet of copy paper inside the shirt to catch any ink that may bleed through the shirt. Cover the transfer paper with parchment paper or craft paper, do not use your teflon sheet with sublimation.
You can add Heat Transfer Vinyl designs to your shirt once you have sublimated onto it. Simply follow the time and temp for the HTV of your choice.
